California Attorney Ronald A. Ziff Defends Felony DUI with Injury
Our client was speeding and under the influence of drugs. He ran a red light and caused an accident and seriously injured two other drivers. He hired an attorney who took the case to trial and lost. The Court indicated a sentence of five years in prison. We were hired and reviewed the case. We hired experts and filed a Motion for New Trial based upon the previous lawyer’s lack of competence. The prosecutor’s office agreed with our analysis and we were able to resolve the matter to allow our client to be sentenced to one year in custody of which he served approximately six months.
